| Yawning acres is located in Cedar about 10 minutes from Nanaimo. Throughout the year we host several events such as Easter Egg Hunt, Pumpkinfest, Haunted Halloween Hayrides, and a Christmas celebration. Our events are all based on a 20 minute hayride which takes you to our beautiful 3 acre park located along side the Nanaimo River. We also rent this park out for wedding ceremonies, church picnics, corporate picnics, family reunions and birthday parties.
